Mr. Francis Kithulha, an independent parliamentary candidate for Kasese Municipality, has asked his electorates to review the pledges by some parliamentary contestants as means to shape their decisions on who to represent them in parliament.
He was responding to concerns by Mr. Deo Faruku 59, Mr. Deo Asiimwe 31, and Mr. Justus Aliganyira 38 among other local residents of Kanyangeya and Kemihoko 11 cells who claimed that despite voting for their Members of Parliament, none is willing to return to consult them about their challenges. Addressing his home to home political rallies particularly in Kemihoko 11 cell, Rukuki Ward in Kasese municipality, Mr. Kithulha who pledged to look into the electric power and water challenges in the area, was concerned that many parliamentary seat contestants have turned their positions into what he call, lie manufacturing platforms, aimed at promising unrealistically. Mr. Kithulha speaking……..
He warned political leaders against looking much into their interests than guidance from the local community members. END
