Christians of Lyamubuzi Catholic Church are concerned about the huge losses following catastrophic windstorm that destroyed St Charles Lwanga Catholic Church building at Lyamubuzi trading centre in Lyamubuzi Ward of Muhokya Town Council, in Kasese district.

Two walls of the church building collapsed after devastating winds struck the structure on Tuesday evening.

Mr. Joseph Kihuka, the head catechist for Kikorongo catholic sub-parish, said the building whose two walls collapsed, had reached wall plate level and that the structure would play a fundamental role in the spiritual nourishment of the people in the area.
