Residents of Nyakiyumbu Sub-county in Kasese District have raised concerns over the persistent lack of electricity, clean water, and poor road infrastructure, they allege have kept their community lagging behind in development ever since Dr. Crispus Kiyonga left Parliament.
Mr. Joseph Kathunda and Ms. Eris Masika, residents of Nyakiyumbu Parish, said that despite electricity poles and transmission lines passing through the area, many locals have never been connected to the national grid.
