The Vicar General of the Diocese of Kasese, Msgr. Landaus Bwambale, has encouraged consecrated men and women to be the light of the world by being faithful, loving and committed to their vocations.
In his homily while presiding over holy Mass at Kasanga Parish during the celebrations of the consecrated life in the parish, Msgr. Landaus later urged the consecrated men and women to continue being the light of the world by living exemplary through prayer, welcoming and helping the needy, as well as loving their neighbors.
Msgr. Landaus who represented Rt. Rev. Francis Kibira, the Ordinary of the Diocese of Kasese, reminded them of the three pillars of their dedicated lives to God by professing the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience. Msgr. Landaus speaking1……..
Sr. Juliet Kabugho, a member of the Daughters of St. Theresa Congregation and the Coordinator of the Association of the Religious in Uganda, said the celebrations were supposed to have been on 02nd February; the feast of presentation of the Lord; a week day, but was rescheduled so as they have enough time with Christians in the parish. The Episcopal Vicar for the Religious in the Diocese of Kasese, Rev. Fr. Richard Sausi Businge had earlier hailed the religious for the services to the Church and the community that should keep them in prayer so as to fulfill their calling. END
