The Ordinary of the Diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale, has officially invited the laity across the country to join and support the diocese as it prepares to lead next year’s June 3rd Uganda Martyrs Day celebrations at the Namugongo Shrine.

Bishop Kibira made the announcement yesterday after presiding over homily during the Mbarara Ecclesiastical Province Association (MEPA) celebrations, which were animated by the Diocese of Kasese at the Namugongo Catholic Martyrs Shrine.
Addressing Christians that filled the shrine to capacity, Bishop Kibira said preparations to lead the next year Uganda Martys celebration are already in high gear to ensure a memorable and spiritually uplifting event that honors the faith of the Uganda Martyrs the ancestors in faith.
