Lt. Joe Walunsimbi, the Kasese Resident District Commissioner, has commissioned two classroom blocks worth 105 million shillings at Kyondo Primary School in Kyondo Sub-county, Kasese District.

The commissioning ceremony was held yesterday at Kyondo Primary school, with a call on parents and teacher to use the facility to improve their children’s learning, rather than seeing it merely as decoration.
He also warned head teachers of both Government and Private schools against sending children back home over school fees.

Walunsimbi, who described education as a key pillar in human development, warned the community against harmful behaviors such as alcoholism, prostitution, and drug abuse, which he said can ruin their lives and hinder their ability to benefit from their children’s education in future.
