Opposition leaders in Kasese District have largely rejected the Busongora County South Member of Parliament election results, calling on civil society organizations and the government to ensure justice.
Mr. Brain Basisa, the National Unity Platform (NUP) chairperson for Kasese District, noted that there was a lack of neutrality and independence by the Electoral Commission and security forces, adding that their actions did not uphold social equality and transparency in the country.
