Rev. Fr. Vito Kule, the Chancellor of the Diocese of Kasese, has urged Christians to embrace love for one another and invite Jesus Christ into their hearts during this Advent season.
Fr. Vito made the call while presiding over Holy Mass during which he baptized a baby girl born during the ongoing Catechists’ training at Nsenyi Catechetical Centre. The child was born to Catechist Robert Mumbere of Kanyughunya Roman Catholic Church and his wife, Harriet Kabugho.

In his homily, Fr. Vito urged believers to use this Advent period to love and forgive one another as they prepare for the birth of Jesus Christ.

He advised Christians to fight malnutrition by feeding on a balanced diet, as recommended by nutritionists.
Mr. Mumbere and his wife Harriet testified that when the Parish Priest, directed him to join the one-year Catechetical course, he feared for the sustainability of his family since his wife was pregnant. However, through God’s grace, they glorified His name for the gift of a healthy child.
