Rev. Fr. Godwin Kibaba Kasai, the Kacungiro Pastoral Centre Coordinator, has attributed the delay among youths in receiving the Sacrament of Matrimony to fear of responsibility and the challenges of family life.
In his homily while presiding over the Matrimonial Mass of the Nyakahya Parish Leader, Mr. Landus Bwambale and wife Sherilyn Masika, held over the weekend at Nyakahya Parish Church, Fr. Godwin urged married couples to build their families on discipline, love, and the fear of God.
He noted that the increasing number of unmarried youths is largely due to many being afraid of the responsibilities that come with marriage.

Fr. Kibaba further advised the youth intending to marry to prioritize discipline, and good character over physical appearance. He warned that marrying solely for beauty can lead to regret in marriage, in future. END
