By Peter Masereka,
Four major seminarians have today been admitted and instituted as serious candidates for the Diaconate at St. John Paul II Spiritual Home Chapel, by the Ordinary of the Diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale.
The four seminarians, all from the Diocese of Kasese, include: Semi Daniel Kule Bithere from Kyalhumba Parish and Semi Isaac Ndungu from Nsenyi Parish, both theology students at St. Paul National Major Seminary, Kinyamisika; and Semi Joachim Thembo Sikahwa from Ibanda Parish together with Semi Marisela Muhindo from Kasanga Parish, theology students at St. Mary’s National Major Seminary, Ggaba.

While presiding over Holy Mass, Bishop Kibira, in his homily, urged young people aspiring to the priesthood to carefully listen to the voice of the Lord who calls them. He emphasized that priesthood, like any other vocation, is not about personal gain but about serving God and his people.
Kibira encouraged priests, religious, and seminarians to dedicate their vocation to the intercession of Mother Mary and to remain rooted in the Holy Eucharist, which he described as the source of their priesthood.Bishop Kibira speaking1..
Kibira also advised young people intending to join the vocation of marriage to avoid searching for marriage partners on the internet, but instead to seek God’s guidance through prayer and fasting. He further thanked Christians for continually fasting and praying for him and for the diocesan projects.Bishop Kibira speaking 2…
