Reports reaching Kasese Guide Radio indicate that Medics at the Ishaka based Kampala International University Teaching hospital are doing their best to save the life of the reknown retired educationist and seasonal politician, Mzee Gad Mbayahi Bakwanamaha.
The former Rwenzururu Kingdom Premier is said to have been involved in a road accident near Kasese Cobalt Company, along the Kasese-Kikorongo highway in Kasese municipality yesterday as he rode on a motorcycle reportedly from his farm.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio this evening, Mr. Edson Bumenze, a close friend to the victim, said whereas Mr. Mbayahi was still unconscious, with a damaged jaw and on life support machines, the medical specialists manning the Intensive care unit at the facility, were waiting for a while to operate on him.
