Mr. Ronald Bwambale Kabuku, the Kasese District FDC Chairperson, has called for massive support towards the Omusinga Birthday Run slated for November 14th, irrespective of race, ethnicity, or political affiliation.

Addressing the press at the party offices in Kasese Town today, Mr. Kabuku noted that, for participants, the run goes beyond a social cause, It is also seen as an opportunity to celebrate the Bakonzo cultural and historical heritage through music and dance a fun-filled get-together for nationals, a family day out, and a chance to connect directly to their roots and see the Omusinga himself.
Mr. Kabuku urged participants to purchase Birthday Run kits at designated points in Kasese Town, saying proceeds will support the Kingdom’s five-year strategic plan, which includes establishing a Kingdom radio station.

Similarly, Mr. Ronald Kato, the Executive Director of Youth Link, urged the local community to celebrate the King’s birthday positively.

Hon. Selevest Masereka Caritas, the FDC flag bearer for Bukonzo County East Parliamentary seat in 2026 general elections, also encouraged the community to embrace the Birthday Run, describing it as a symbol of Bakonzo identity. END
