The Kasese Forum for Democratic Change-FDC has launched a Power 20-member group to back government security at each polling station to ensure a secure election for the Local Council Five chairperson and councilors on Thursday, this week, Mr. Ronald Bwambale Kabuku has announced.
While addressing Forum for Democratic Change flag bearers and supporters today at SK Gardens in Kamaiba Ward, Central Division, Kasese Municipality, Kabuku noted that the supplementary security personnel, will be deployed at every polling station to protect the election against any irregularities.
He explained that the deployment of 20 members per polling station across Kasese District is intended to safeguard the electoral process.

Kabuku appealed to community members to turn out in large numbers on Thursday, the 22nd, to cast their votes for Mr. Sibendire Bigogo as the Local Council Five chairperson and his councilors, stressing that their participation is crucial in shaping the future of their community. END
