Hon. Selevest Masereka Caritas, the FDC Parliamentary aspirant for Bukonzo County East in Kasese district, has reaffirmed his earlier plans for a Drainage Master plan as a mitigation measure against seasonal floods that repeatedly threaten settlement, trade and agriculture in Kinyamaseke town council.

Addressing his political campaign rally in Kinyamaseke town council yesterday, Mr. Caritas also pledged to lobby government for the establishment of a health centre three facility, financial empowerment to registered groups, promote sports and talents, introduce a boda-boda insurance scheme to bailout victims of road accidents, as well as procuring motorcycles for commercial riders on affordable loan interests.
He said he was to use his experience with Caritas-Kasese as an MP, to mobilize the local population about the importance of good feeding, productive agricultural practices and concerns that would guide his deliberations on the flood of parliament. Hon. Caritas speaking…..
Mr. Gabriel Bwambale, the FDC’s flag bearer for the local council three seat for Kinyamaseke town council, says the establishment of a public toilets and market lights for the vendors, were a priority should he be voted into power to politically lead the town council. END
