The pilgrimage to the Uganda Martyrs Shrine Namugongo 2026, to be animated by the Diocese of Kasese, officially begins tomorrow, November 23rd, with an inauguration Mass at Our Lady of Assumption Kasese Cathedral Church, the Bishop of the Diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale, has announced.

The prelate made the announcement today shortly after presiding over Holy Mass at Mubuku Catholic Church in Hima Parish, where he also confirmed over 600 Christians into the Catholic faith.
