Fifteen out of twenty civil servants from Kasese district yesterday appeared before the sanctions and Rewards committee on allegations of corruption and abuse of office.
Speaking to our Reporter on instruction of the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, the Senior Human Resource officer Kasese district, Ms Evelyn Biira, said the committee provided fair hearing to civil servants to defend themselves about allegations of corruption.
Evelyn also said the committee is mandated to propose recommendations to the chief Administrative officer about the best performing civil servants so that they are rewarded and promoted as per the local government act. Ms. Evelyn speaking…..
