Centenary Bank in Partnership with Good Forests Foundation-Uganda has launched a Green Campaign with a call on Ugandans to jointly work with Government and her development partners to transform Uganda into a global destination.
The call by Mr. Henry Kabiriri, the Kasese Assistant RDC following reports by the Sustainability manager from Centenary Bank headquarters in Kampala, Mr. Emmanuel Otuko who had earlier announced that with the new partnership, the Bank is to plant and look after five thousand tree seedlings across Kasese. Addressing various stakeholders at the launch of the project held at the Kasese multi-purpose hall today, Mr. Kabiriri who represented the Kasese RDC, Lt. Joe Walunsimbi said it was partly the role of Ugandans to back plans for a middle income status by promoting hard work, unity, protecting the current achievements by government and conserving the environment.
