Ms Doreen Masika, the chairperson Board of Directors for the Catholic Women Sacco in the Diocese of Kasese, has hailed the Sacco clients for being practical in making good use of the monies they borrow.
Her comments follow testimonies the Sacco beneficiaries and recent evaluation tour of the projects in Kitswamba parish, where Ms Roza Biira and Ms Angellica Tibakunirwa Akiiki like many others who hailed the Bishop for the dream that has turned true to lift the incomes of the women and their families. Ms Cecilia Rujumba, the CWA chairperson for Kitswamba parish said the testimonies were not mere talk but a revelation that the loans given after trainings was a manifestation of a master plan grooming a financially stable flock of God that is able to support their families and the Church. Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio later after an evaluation meeting and a disbursement exercise of loans to qualifying members at Kitswamba parish last weekend, Ms Doreen said time was ripe for woman to be more focused by supporting their families and Church through income generating projects.
