As the Ordinary of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale confirms over 500 Christians in the Catholic faith in Kasanga Parish, leaders at all levels have been urged to light their community by sensitizing members of the public about the need for income generating activities as means to support their families and the work of God.
In his homily while presiding over Holy Mass at Kasanga Parish grounds yesterday, Bishop Kibira particularly commended Dr. Crispus Kiyonga, the MP elect for Bukonzo Count West, for his visionary plans against poverty, poor health and food insecurity among members of the community. In his speech shortly after Holy Mass, Bishop Kibira who asked local Churches in the Diocese to practice the liturgical songs prepared for the Uganda Martyrs celebrations in Namugongo this year, reaffirmed his earlier announcement that two groups of pilgrims from United States of America and Germany have requested to be part of the choir as the Diocese of Kasese animates the celebrations on June 3rd 2026.
