The Member of Parliament–elect for Bukonzo County West, Hon. Dr. Crispas Kiyonga, has called on electorates to support his one-year development plan aimed at commercializing agriculture, with a focus onimprovinglocal feed production for poultry and goats.
Dr. Kiyonga made the remarks following concerns raised by the Ordinary of the Diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale, shortly after presiding over Holy Mass at Kasanga Parish yesterday.
Bishop Kibira attributed increasing poverty in communities to men who, instead of engaging in productive work, spend time loitering in trading centres and bars.
