The Bishop of the Diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale called for commitment, hard work and promotion of a unifying working environment aimed at improved service delivery at their work stations by the Diocesan staff for the good of God’s people.
Presiding over a Homily during Christmas Carols and lighting of the Christmas tree at Mt. St, Mary’s Hospital-DOK this afternoon, Bishop Kibira asked the staff at the health facility to be mindful of their cardinal role of safety to life, work against pride, be accountable and responsible of one another to develop as individuals and one family.

In his report, the Deputy Medical Director at the facility, Dr. Tony Ssali, said in just one year, the facility has been able to attend to over two thousand mothers turning up for antenatal Care services and that their three years of operations have been successful because no baby from an HIV/AIDS infected mother has acquired the disease at delivery.
