By Peter Masereka,
The Bishop of the diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale is concerned about the low turn up for Holy Communion by married couples in Kyalhumba parish.

He asked the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Cosmas Asaaba Musungu, to schedule 15th December 2025 for a mass wedding that the Pastor will support now that resources could be part of the challenges failing formalized marriages in the parish.
In his homily on Sunday while presiding over Holy Mass at Kaghema Primary school in Kyalhumba Parish where more than 330 Christians were confirmed in the Catholic Church, Bishop Kibira said for a family to raise responsible Christians and citizens, it needs to have people who receive food for the soul. Bishop Kibira speaking……..
Bishop Kibira encouraged Christians to prioritize the Kingdom of God by desisting from earthly pleasures; wondering why Christians should live for years in illegal marriages. Rev. Fr. Asaba Cosmas, the parish Priest later used part of his speech to redirect all catechists for pastoral visits to and sharing with individuals who need guidance to the effect. END
