Mr. Joseph Nzukwa, the Kasese Secondary School head teacher, partly blames education challenges to some parents and guardians who do not prepare in time for their children in school as the learning institutions open for business.
He says early preparations that includes purchasing scholastic requires and banking school fees be done in beats to minimize stress and burden to parents, some of whom have meager sources of incomes.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio at his school yesterday, Mr. Nzukwa who was concerned about late reporting by learners as schools open for new academic terms, called for collaborated efforts against teen marriages and school dropouts that have damaged the future of many young people and frustrated plans to improve education.
He described teaching as a chain which must not be disrupted by the late coming or skipping of classes by some learners who in future meet academic challenges. Mr. Nzukwa speaking…………
Mr. Nzukwa who is also the chairperson for school head teachers in Rwenzori sub-region, warned learners against bad peer groups that lead them to alcoholism, drug abuse, theft and fornication he said were not only sins before the Creator but damage one’s health. END
