The Kanamba-Intaro Bafumbira group in Karusandara Sub-county, Kasese District, has commended the leadership of the Rwenzururu Kingdom for its efforts in promoting social and cultural inclusivity, peace, and unity among communities in the Rwenzori sub-region.
Mr. Innocent Tumwesigye, the group leader, stated that since 1960, the Bafumbira community has never experienced any conflict with subjects of the Rwenzururu Kingdom a testament, he linked, to the kingdom’s values of love, care, and respect.

He further praised the kingdom for involving their group in cultural activities, which he described as a meaningful step toward harmony and mutual respect.
