Mr. Jafali Kigutiha, the local council one Chairperson for Base-camp Lower cell in Kasese municipality has warned the local community members against multiple loans that put them to unnecessary pressure, ill health and fuel domestic violence as well.
He also asked money lenders to be human while demanding for refund than forcing their clients to flee and abandon their homes at a time their families need them most during the Christmas festivities.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio at the Kasese multipurpose hall in Kasese town yesterday, Mr. Kigutiha asked money lenders to work in consultations with his office for modalities to deal with borrowers, some of whom were leaving under fear as the world draws near the Christmas day celebrations.
