The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda his Grace Samuel Kazimba Mugalu has asked and guided Bishops to pray for the peaceful elections in 20206.

Speaking at the Western and South western Bishops fellowship at ‘Las Vegas’ in Mbarara City today, the Archbishop said that Ugandans need to keep peace.
He emphasized that the bishops need to preach the message of peace, reconciliation, forgiveness, respect for one another and support for one another.
Kaziimba’s message comes at a time when Uganda is having campaigns to elect the President, members of parliament and leaders for the local governments. Over 90 Bishops serving and retired plus their spouses from 14 Dioceses of western and south western Uganda have converged for their five day retreat in Ankole Diocese. END
