Dr. Julius Monday Rude, the MP elect for Bukonzo County East, has pledged consultative legislation aimed at presenting to parliament the views of his electorates from the informed point of view.
He said he will legislate in consultations with his former political competitors, opinion leaders, civil society organizations and his voters for purposes of representing the position of the constituency.
In a yesterday meeting while addressing his constituents in Kisinga town council a day after being declared the winner of the polls at the tally exercise at the Kasese multipurpose hall on Saturday, Dr. Rude also commended his competitors for exercising political maturity during the political campaigns, reaffirming his pledge to consult their individual manifestos as their MP. In the recently concluded parliamentary race, Dr. Rude, contested the Bukonzo County East parliamentary seat with; Hon. Harold Tony Muhindo, the incumbent and PFF flag bearer, Mr. Philly Kahungu of Development party, Mr. Selevest Masereka for FDC and Mr. Cleous Bwambale, NUP’s flag bearer. END
