The police in Mt. Moroto Region have received a Breathalyzer machine from the office of the Inspector General of Police to crack down on drunk drivers.
The device measures blood alcohol content and detects intoxication levels.
Mike Longole, the Mt Moroto Regional Police Spokesperson, said that the machine will be used for detecting and preventing drunk driving.
Longole said that drivers will be stopped at security checkpoints and roadblocks, where they will be checked before proceeding with their journey. Mr. Longole speaking….
