Mr. Seth Ahebwa, the Kasese Municipal Principal Education Officer, has called on parents and guardians to provide all basic necessities to their children as schools officially open on February 10 this year.
Speaking to our reporter today at his office, Mr. Seth advised parents to ensure that learners report on the first day of school to allow teachers to complete the syllabus in time.
He described a hungry child as non-competitive and urged parents and guardians to make early preparations for their school-going children to avoid friction on the opening day.
Seth further warned parents to enroll their children in well-organized and accredited schools by the Ministry of Education and Sports to avoid future regrets. Mr. Seth speaking…
