The local residents of Buthale village in Mahango sub-county in Kasese district, have a reason to smile following the delivery of a bulldozer to rehabilitate the Buthale-Kikongo-Kayembe community access road which had almost turned impassable.
The said road was voluntarily opened by the locals in order to ease transport and connect their villages to the rest of the fastest growing urban centers including Kyarumba town council and the surrounding areas, according to Mrs. Janet Isebayithima Musoki, a resident of Buthale village in Nyamisule parish. Rev. Gideon Bwambale, the Parish Vicar for St. James Buthale Anglican Church of Uganda, told our reporter that the poor road network was making it hard for him and the team to carry out their pastoral work.

Mr. Julius Kyasuba, Mahango sub-county chairperson did not hide his excitement over the road works, adding that it should the role of the locals to make good use and protect the 3.5 kilometers road he said will ease communication. Mr. Kyasuba speaking……
