The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, the Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, today afternoon arrived in Kigezi Diocese for a four-day pastoral and farewell visit ahead of his retirement.
Archbishop Kaziimba is scheduled to retire on August 14, 2027, upon attaining the mandatory retirement age of 65, in accordance with the Canons of the Church of Uganda.
Kaziimba is expected to officially open the Diocese of Kigezi Annual Brethren Conference at the Convention Centre in Rugarama, Kabale Municipality. The conference brings together Anglican men from across the diocese for fellowship, teaching and spiritual renewal. End
