As the National Resistance Movement leadership in Uganda celebrated 40 year of liberation yesterday, the Kasese district party leadership has called on the local community members to join them in protecting the achieved goals and future plans for development.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio at Verina gardens in Kasese Municipality yesterday, Mr. Yunusu Muhindo, the NRM party publicity secretary, commends the leadership of the former Uganda Patriotic Movement; a defunct socialist political party in Uganda he says played a crucial role in the country’s political transition during the 1980s.
Mr. Yunusu later called for the promotion of patriotism, Pan-Africanism and social economic transformation, he said were some of the core values of the NRM leadership. Mr. Yunusu speaking……..
He also asked the people of Kasese to embrace hard work aimed at boosting wealth creation through agricultural, industrialization and ICT, to tackle unemployment and low income levels. END
