It was somber mood among the local residents of Kyakakindo village, Kitabu subcounty in Kasese district during the burial of a mother and her son whose bodies had been exhumed from a forest in Busia district.
No much details has been obtained from police about the incident but Mr. Posiano Kwirathwiwe, the Catholic Parish communicator for Kitabu in the Diocese of Kasese, said the late Rauline Biira 24 and her son only identified as Bwambale, were reportedly killed by the former’s husband over domestic related conflicts about a decade ago.
Mr. Posiano said whereas the deceased had been buried by another family under mistaken identity, their bodies were identified following thorough police investigations that compelled the suspect who hails from Kampala, to locate the burial location in Busia and the bodies later relocated to Kasese for a decent burial.
