As the Diocese of Kasese gears up for the 3rd June Uganda Martyrs’ celebrations, students from Catholic-founded schoolshave concluded a five-day rehearsal atKasese Secondary School ahead of the30th May 2026 students’ pilgrimage.
In his speech shortly after presiding over Holy Mass, the Diocesan Education Secretary, Rev. Fr. Joseph Mbusa, said the students’ pilgrimage to Namugongo, introduced last year by the Uganda Episcopal Conference, will see the Diocese of Kasese become the second diocese to animate, after Lugazi Diocese. He noted that this is a rare opportunity which students should not take for granted.
