A massive fire that tore through a shopping centre in Pakistan’s largest city, Karachi, has killed 21 people, including a firefighter, and rescuers are racing to find dozens more still missing.
It took firefighters more than 24 hours to put out the blaze in Gul Plaza that started on Saturday night. The building housed 1,200 stores.
Meanwhile, thirteen school pupils have died in South Africa after the minibus they were travelling in collided with a lorry south of the city of Johannesburg.
The crash happened today morning at around 07:00 AM in Vanderbijl Park, the local education authority said. The minibus driver crashed into the lorry after attempting to overtake two vehicles, police spokesperson, Mavela Masondo said. END
