Mr. Peter Sunday Kakule, the local council three chairperson for Nyakiyumbu Subcounty in Kasese district, has described the local residents of Bukonzo County West as practical drummers whose rhythms should directly guide society about the importance of security in social economic development.
Mr. Peter Kakule who is the chief campaigning manager in Dr. Crispus Kiyonga’s bid to retain Bukonzo County West parliamentary seat, reminded the local residents of Karukumiza village in Karambi Subcounty that the G-8 forum, was established under the guidance of Dr. Kiyonga, a Minister of Defense then, who cemented the relationship between the local leaders and officers in uniform to guarantee security.

He asked the local residents particularly in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council, Nyakiyumbu and Karambi subcounties not to be moved by rhythms that do not respond to their challenges especially in the areas of security, development, unity and peace. Peter Kakule speaking………

Earlier, Ms Night Mbeba, a local resident had separately told our reporter that for Hon. Godfrey Katusabe Atkins, the area incumbent MP to boldly lie to people that he sponsored thirteen un identified youth to study in the US and the Mpondwe-Karambi-Kiraro road will be tarmacked, as well as pledging in vain to supply iron sheets to his voters, are manifestations that the legislature is unreliable.

In his address later, Dr. Kiyonga, apologized to the locals of Karukumiza over fruitless plans for water and electric power in the area, announcing a master plan to deal with the two challenges immediately he returns to parliament. Dr. Kiyonga speaking……
He also reaffirmed his earlier pledge to deal with Uganda/DR Congo cross boarder challenges, including uncalled for payments within six months. END
