Mr. Christopher Kabagambe, the Kasese Municipal health inspector has threatened to deal with the local community members without pit latrines and promoting poor garbage disposal.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio at his offices this afternoon, Mr. Kabagambi said he was disappointed with some locals who instead of putting up pit-latrines and rubbish pits, they use polythen bags and drainage systems for disposing human wastes and rubbish.
He said the locals failing to have pit latrines and rubbish bins will not be allowed to mess up with the plans to protect the gains Kasese Municipality has achieved as one of the cleanest municipalities in Uganda. Mr. Kabagambi speaking……
Mr. Kabagambe later said he was secretly monitoring and locating homes with no pit latrines and rubbish pits for the law to take its course. END
