The Special Election Constables who were recently recruited across Kasese district, have this afternoon been passed out with a call to utilize the acquired skills in maintaining Law and Order during next year’s General Elections.
Presiding over the function at Asumu Model school playground in Kasese Municipality this afternoon. Gen. Wilson Mbadi Mbasu, the Former Chief of Defense Forces, asked the police constables to maintain the democratic principles of the National Resistance Movement in protecting, lives, property and the developmental gains since 1986.
The UPDF Military General who appreciated them for the discipline exhibited during the training, said more assignments may be given to those who maintain discipline, focus and hard work while in their lines of duty. Gen. Madi speaking1……
Gen. Mbadi, the State Minister for Trade later warned that whereas government was working around the clock for reasonable markets and prices for agricultural products, the farmers and other line players may not reap as required if no quality promotion measures are implemented.
