Sheikh Musa Swadiq Baluku, the Kasese District Kadhi, has appealed to the Muslim community to form SACCOs based on Islamic principles as a way of benefiting from government funds.

Speaking to our reporter yesterday at Kasese Main Mosque, Sheikh Swadiq encouraged Muslims to take advantage of available opportunities and benefit from government initiatives by establishing their own SACCOs.
Recently, the Ministry of Finance revealed that the Government of Uganda had secured billions of shillings from the Islamic Development Bank to support women through their SACCOs.
Sheikh Swadiq also advised parents and guardians to dedicate time to their children during this long holiday, offering guidance and counseling to help them become responsible citizens in the future. Mr. Swadiq speaking…
