Kasese District Local Government, has awarded Kankitsi Construction Company Limited a contract worth over 86 million shillings to upgrade Kyempara health centre three in Isango sub-county, with a call to follow the bills of quantities.
Handing over to the contractor over the weekend, Engineer David Rujumba, said the contract including flooring, terrazzo and other finishing works at the facility is expected to take six months from now.

Mr. Moses Tsustsu, the chairperson local council three for Isango sub-county, commended government for equitable service delivery further appealing to them to upgrade Kamukumbi health centre II to III and Kyempara Health Centre III to IV status for improved health care services.

He highlighted that within less than four years of his leadership, Isango Sub-county has benefited on several government programs, including the construction of an administration block, Kyempara Health Centre III staff quarters, delivery beds and refrigerators among others. END
