Mr. Joneni Bwambale Bamwenda, the National Unity Platform (NUP) Parliamentary candidate for Busongora County North in Kasese District, has temporarily suspended his campaigns this week as the Rwenzururu Kingdom prepares for the King’s Birthday Run, scheduled for November 14th.
Addressing the press at White House Gardens in Kasese town yesterday, Bamwenda said he decided to suspend his official campaigns to give the local community ample time to focus on the Kingdom’s major events.
According to Bamwenda, his official campaign launchwill take place inBugoye Sub-county next week, where he is expected to unveil his manifesto to the electorate. Mr. Bamwenda speaking….
Meanwhile, at his second campaign rally held at Kajwenge Trading Centre in Kisinga sub-county, Hon. Selevest Masereka Caritas, the FDC Parliamentary candidate for Bukonzo East Constituency, pledged to establish health insurance, education fund, and agriculture, among other priorities. END
