Mr. Erifaz Muhindi, the Kasese district local council five chairman, has asked the local community members to be appreciative and protect the achievements of the ruling NRM as a lobbying strategy to government for more projects.
His comments follow concerns by the local community members in Buhuhira subcounty in Kasese district, including, Mr. Milton Kalamu Baluku, the subcounty NRM chairperson, who called for plans to work on the Kitswamba-Kyabarungira-Buhuhira road, Kidabuli-Ntunga road and Kithoma-Korukumi road, as well as the Kasenyi bridge that was swept away by fiver floods. Mr. Muhindi who was concerned about the road communication challenges however, asked the local people of Busongora County North to appreciate government for her interventions into the health, education and water challenges that have been neutralized by the billion shillings worthy multiple water projects in the constituency.
