The Ordinary of the Diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale, has encouraged married men to share their bank details with their wives to ensure the sustainability of family enterprises.

During yesterday’s Uganda Martyrs Day celebrationsorganized by theMbarara Ecclesiastical Province Association (MEPA)and animated by theDiocese of KaseseatNamugongo Shrine, the Bishop noted that some men operate bank accounts that are unknown to their wives.
As a result, when such men pass away, their families struggle to access their savings.
It’s against this background, Bishop Kibira urged men to allow their wives and children to be aware of the details of their bank accounts and family businesses. Bishop Kibira one speaking…
He wondered why men may be a preferential shareholder in centenary Bank but when he passes on the wife and family members fail to claim the money and after a period of time it’s refunded to the treasury.
