Rev. Fr. Edward Kabanda, the Rector of Our Lady Queen of Peace Kiwamirembe Catholic Shrine, has urged Christians to invest in social capital by helping the needy and less privileged.

In his homily during morning Mass for pilgrims from the Diocese of Kasese as part of their spiritual journey and preparation for the Mbarara Ecclesiastical Province Association (MEPA) celebrations tomorrow, Fr. Kabanda, described giving to the needy as a source of blessing from God that every Christian should practice in daily life.
This year’s MEPA celebration is being animated by the Diocese of Kasese, with the Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale as the main celebrant at tomorrow’s event at Namugongo Catholic Shrine.
