The Ordinary of the Diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale, yesterday blessed and commissioned the central and sub-committees to spearhead for the Uganda Martyrs Namugongo celebrations at Namugongo, to be animated by the Diocese of Kasese.

While addressing the committees at the Bishop’s Hall in Kasese Municipality, Bishop Kibira urged them to remain united and embrace teamwork, noting that they have a significant responsibility to mobilize resources and engage the faithful to ensure a vibrant and successful celebration. He also called for financial transparency in managing contributions, announcing that Centenary Bank will provide a vehicle to safely transport the collected funds in preparation for next year’s Martyrs Day celebrations.

The prelate urged committee members and the religious to pray for the Marty’s day preparations both at institution and family levels.

The Chairperson Organizing Committee, is Rev. Fr. John Baptist Kule, deputized by Mr. Joseph Nzukwa.
They will be supported by fifteen sub-committees, which have been mandated to draft budgets and share them with the Central Executive Committee for approval and coordination. Rev.Fr.John Baptist speaking.
