Ms. Eunice Asiimwe Kibinduka, a vendor in Kasese Main Market has called for massive sensitization about the proposed new local government policy prohibiting elections of Chairperson Vendors.
Under the new policy government will appoint market masters and mistresses who will act as chairperson vendors, assisted with executive members.
Ms. Kibinduka, who said appointed officers may not be the rightful choice for the vendors called for government review about the policy she thinks may may fail the business community in Kasese district.

Ms.Kibinduka said vendors had earlier asked the Municipal senior community development officer, Mr. Wilson Lhughabwe to allow them hold elections through his technical guidance.
