Uganda has handed over to Kenya six cattle rustling suspects arrested by security in Karamoja region that borders Turkana.
The Ugandan joint security forces including Police and the UPDF yesterday released and handed over Turkana suspects to the Turkana County Government of the Republic of Kenya in a gesture of East African brotherhood.
The exercise was done at Moroto army barracks, where Ugandan security led by Brig Gen Felix Busizoori, the UPDF third Division Deputy Commander handed over the six suspects to Peter Eripete , the County Secretary and head of Public service for Turkana County Government in Kenya.
Speaking at the same occasion, Peter Eripete applauded Ugandan authorities for the gesture. END
