By Kyamanduma Patrick,
The Second edition of Kyakere Carnival festival on Saturday last week was an event mixed with joy and despair at the same time among the Revelers.

To Ms Jovia Tusiime, a local resident of Rwimi in Bunyangabu town council, Mr. Ronald Thembo of Karambi subcounty and Marable Muhindo of Katwe Kabatooro town council, the Kyakere festival was not only exciting but a boredom breaker and talent promoter.
However, Mr. Kule Alikangiro Busimba, a 60-year-old resident of Kathoma village in Rukoki subcounty however said, the day turned a night mere for him after losing his cellphone and money to thieves during the carnival. Mr. Alikangiro speaking………
Ms Alice Muhindo of Kidodo in Kasese Municipality like a young man who did not want to be identified but hailing from Kihara cell in Kasese municipality, was beaten and her valuables stolen by suspected Gaza gang members. A young man speaking……
Puzzled at her main gate in Kamulikwizi cell in Kasese Municipality, was one Mary, a mother of three who had a night celebrating the Kyakere festival but little did she know that her husband had returned from his work place in Jinja shortly after she left home for the Rwenzori square event. END
