The Kasese Diocesan Youth Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Joseph Tumusiime has today led a delegation of 40 youth to Hoima Diocese for the Annual National youth conference, with a call on them to turn the journey into a Holy Pilgrimage and redemption.
Speaking to our Reporter shortly after Mass before setting off the team at Kasese Cathedral Ground at 12.00PM, Fr. Tumusiime revealed that leading the youth to the conference on behalf of the Diocese, will see them join the entire church in implementing its mandate of guiding, empowering and teaching the youth to live a good life.
According to him, the Conference is aimed at spiritual redemption, social networks, sharing culture and traditions with other Catholic Dioceses in Uganda, as well as learning more about their church and how to copy up with the changing world. Fr.Tumusiime one speaking..

Some of the youths including, Mr. Landaus from Nyakahya and Christine Nyangoma from Hima Parish, described the conference as time to dedicate themselves to God and pray for different vocation.

The conference is Organized under the theme from Isaiah chapter 40 verse 31 “but those who hope in the lord will renew their strength, they soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” as given to them by the Holy Father. END.
