Ms. Grace Kitalibara, the Senior Commercial Officer for Kasese District, has advised the youth to engage in business ventures rather than waiting for white-collar jobs, which she said have become highly competitive.
Speaking to our reporter in Kasese Town yesterday shortly after aone-day youth capacity-building workshopheld at theCentral Division offices in Kasese Municipality, Ms. Kitalibaara called for mindset change among the youth, who still think Government Jobs can absorb all graduates across the country.

Meanwhile, Ms. Justin Mbambu, the Treasurer for Western Region Youth MG Community Credit Cooperative SocietyandPeer Coordinator for Kasese District, noted that although some youth have entrepreneurial skills,they are often discriminated against when seeking loans from financial institutions, encouraging them to form youth Sacco’s.
